As a commercial supply organisation in the fresh produce industry, Haluco BV wishes to provide optimum service to its contractors as well as its clients.
Firstly, we coordinate the supply of the total production from Dutch growers, whether they are affiliated with the growers’ cooperative Best Growers Benelux or not, as well as that of foreign growers. Furthermore, we are constantly searching for extra products so that we can offer a complete product selection year-round, and thus create additional supply.
We determine the right mix of supply lines based on product availability. Growers then always have insight into the commercial decisions concerning their products. Weekly joint discussions are held to plot out the commercial plan to be followed. Using information accumulated from past transactions, market demand, and factors such as weather forecasts, by keeping a close eye on all of these, we can guarantee our contractors a pricing policy consistent with the market, optimum service for our clients, and a reasonable return for the business.
